MRT Strike statistics for 13 September 2006
Tauranga
- 6 LPS situations – 4 dealt with internally by Radiologists who performed ultrasounds
- 4 people stabilised overnight to be treated private on 14 September
- 1 person sent home and deferred radiography until Friday
- Approximately 6 patients sent to private facilities for x-rays
- Same number of ED presentations that we would usually expect
- Same number of admissions to hospital as per usual
Whakatane
- 1 LPS situation overnight
- 6 people sent private
- 1 person stabilised overnight to be treated private on 14 September
- Number of presentations to ED lower than usual
