DATE: MISSION SUMMARY FOR THE WESTPAC RESCUE HELICOPTER
7/8/06 The helicopter was tasked to Rotorua Hospital for a transfer. Could not proceed due to the weather.
7/8/06 Helicopter was tasked to Waiheke Island. Stood down.
7/8/06 Civil Aviation requested a beacon search to be carried out in West Harbour. It had been requested earlier in the day but could not be carried out due to the weather conditions.
8/8/06 A female with a medical condition and a male child who had fallen off a bicycle were both transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
9/8/06 The helicopter responded to Whitianga and transported a male with multiple injuries after a motor vehicle accident to Auckland City Hospital.
9/8/06 A male with chest pain was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
9/8/06 The helicopter was placed on stand by for a motor vehicle accident at South Head. Stood down, not required.
9/8/06 A female with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
10/8/06 After a fall at home a male was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
10/8/06 The helicopter responded to Great Barrier Island and transported a male with injuries received while cutting trees to Auckland City Hospital.
11/8/06 A beacon search was carried out in the Firth of Thames. Nothing found, returned to base.
11/8/06 A woman with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
12/8/06 The helicopter was tasked to Hahei Beach but mission was cancelled enroute.
12/8/06 After falling from a moving vehicle two males were transported from Port Charles to Auckland City Hospital.
13/8/06 A woman with a medical condition was transported from Waiheke Island to Auckland City Hospital.
13/8/06 The helicopter was placed on standby for an accident on Muriwai Beach. Stood down, not required.
13/8/06 The helicopter was on standby for a woman with a medical condition at Great Barrier Island, stood down not required.
