ReNu MoistureLoc, a Bausch & Lomb product marketed in the United States is not approved for use in New Zealand.
Bausch & Lomb has agreed with the US FDA to stop distributing the product in the US.
Other Bausch & Lomb products in this range are approved for use in New Zealand but Medsafe is not aware of any particular concerns in
New Zealand or Australia.
ReNu MultiPlus and ReNu Multipurpose Solution are both on the New Zealand market.
Meanwhile, Medsafe is in the early stages of an investigation regarding websites which appear to be selling contact lens
solutions, including ReNu MoistureLoc Multipurpose Solution. No further details are available at this stage.
