Last year Auckland’s most stylish Bag Ladies raised almost $35,000 for Starship Children’s Health.

The third Bag Ladies Brunch on Sunday 9 October features a fashion parade from some of New Zealand’s leading Fashion Houses, including Adrienne Winkelmann, John Zimmerman, Jane Daniels, Working Style, Bendon and Sherrill Joseph.

The highlight will be an entertaining glimpse into the creativity and imagination of the World of Wearable Arts from guest speaker, WOW Chief Executive Gabrielle Hervey, will tell of putting the show on the international stage from its humble beginnings in a rain soaked tent eighteen years ago. Gabrielle will share this incredible journey as well as the next steps in the WOW plan.

This year the Bag Ladies are aiming to raise $50,000 for a Digital Recording System for Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy Procedures to improve the diagnosis and treatment of children with respiratory diseases and severe breathing problems.

Guests will enjoy a wickedly tempting two course menu, featuring dessert from our principal sponsor, Movenpick and accompanied by Hotel du Vin Firstland Vineyards Methode Traditionelle. The owners of the hottest purses and most creative clutches can win luxurious prizes. There are opportunities as well to take part in the tombola, silent auction and raffle items.

Tickets are limited and cost $75 per person which includes a two-course brunch and fashion show, spot prizes, great give-away bags, and entertainment; ; plus the chance to participate in a “Tirage Au Sort” to win a luxury mystery gift valued at $2000 and bid on some wow items in the auction.
