Work continues on developing public car park at Hawke’s Bay Hospital
Work begins on Wednesday 31st August on an estimated two-week project to develop Hawke’s Bay Hospital’s public car parking area off Omahu Road, Hastings.
During this period 16 planting islands will be constructed, during which time approximately 10-12 car parks will be unavailable during any one day. Normally 140 car parks are available in this public parking area.
Says Tony McKee, HBDHB’s facilites manager “While the nature of this work is minor we apologise in advance for any inconvenience the visiting public and patients may encounter. Once this work is completed the islands will be planted with foliage allowing clearer designation of traffic flow within the car park.”
