DHBs and NZNO Agree To Mediation
The New Zealand Nurses Organisation advocate, Chris Wilson said this evening that talks with the DHBs had resumed late this morning.
“Considering the events of yesterday, things have progressed constructively,” she said.
Chris Wilson said the parties had jointly agreed to mediation, which was likely to occur when they next met on 22 and 23 September.
“In the meantime NZNO has not issued a strike notice and intends to exhaust all possibilities of resolving the issues prior to doing so.”
