Orthopaedic Funding Boost Welcomed
ADHB welcomes the initiative announced yesterday by the Minister of Health.
Recent media statements that the new Auckland City Hospital cannot physically accommodate this new initiative are
misleading as there are uncommissioned theatres and bed capacity that can be opened to successfully deliver this
initiative if required.
Management and clinicians are currently working through a detailed implementation plan for this initiative.
