Proposed Settlement For Oamaru Nurses
A proposed settlement has been reached in the dispute at Oamaru hospital, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation said today.
NZNO organiser Kay Squires said the proposed settlement was reached after a long day’s mediation on Friday last week.
The settlement would go to members’ meetings tomorrow.
“After a long and difficult negotiation we were pleased at the constructive approach of all parties in Friday’s mediation,” said Kay Squires.
Details of the proposal will not be released until after member’s meetings.
