Students' Creativity Encouraged in 40 Hour Famine

Students Encouraged To Get Creative And Win A Trip To Just Juice Famine Island

WHAT: World Vision and Just Juice have teamed up to create an exciting opportunity for Year 7 and 8 students around the country. One class will be selected to participate in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine on Just Juice Famine Island!

Each class must create an island from Just Juice cartons and other materials and theme it around a developing country, including important famine survival features in the island design. A photograph of the island must be sent in for judging.

WHO: All Year 7 and 8 classes in New Zealand are eligible to enter.

WHY: This is a creative and educational exercise designed to increase awareness of World Vision's 40 Hour Famine. It's a chance for one class to win an adventurous, action-packed weekend on Just Juice Famine Island.

WHERE & WHEN: The winning class will travel to Auckland and catch a ferry to Just Juice Famine Island (Motuihe Island, Hauraki Gulf, Auckland) for the weekend of the 40 Hour Famine, March 22 - 23, 2003.
