Sentencing Helps ASB Bank Staff To Move
On
Statement made by Hugh Burrett, Managing Director
ASB BANK
Today’s sentencing was significant for ASB
BANK staff as it brings to justice the person who took our
friend and colleague, John Vaughan, in a senseless
murder.
It helps us more fully put this horrific episode
behind us, and continue to move on.
An important part of
the healing for the staff of Mangere Bridge branch was to be
in Court today, to see justice being done. It is testament
to their incredible unity and bravery that they were able to
go to Court today to face this person again.
Our
priorities now are to continue to provide support to our
staff, and to the community at Mangere Bridge, who have been
so wonderful in their support of us.
Ends.
