ASB Bank Pleased For Staff At Guilty Plea From Four Accused
Statement made by Hugh Burrett, Managing Director ASB BANK
We are pleased to hear that a man has pleaded guilty in relation to the Manukau Serial Killings at his court appearance today. This news helps with the grieving process, and putting the tragedy behind us.
In particular, it lifts a burden from our staff, and for the family of John Vaughan. Both have been deeply affected by this tragedy.
The guilty plea allows the course of justice to continue. Once again we would like to offer our congratulations to the Police on their swift actions in this case, and for the ongoing support they continue to give us.
We are moving on with our business to support the Mangere Community, but the senseless murder of our colleague, John, is something staff are still struggling to understand. The guilty pleas go some way to help them move on with this.
Ends.
