Durex Avanti Search For Romance Uncovers True Love Stories
With stories of candlelit dinners and long distance love affairs, New Zealanders are proving themselves to be a truly
romantic nation.
The Durex Avanti Search for New Zealand's Most Romantic Couple is continuing to uncover stories of everyday love, and
there are still a few weeks to go with the competition closing on 13 August 2001.
Durex New Zealand Manager Victoria Potter says, it seems Auckland, Dunedin and Wellington are the hot spots for romance.
"We know couples in other centres are just as romantic so we're challenging them to come forward and share their
inspirational stories of romance with us."
One Wellington Romeo reports that he met his partner during a visit she made from Invercargill, they talked and they
danced and it was love at first sight. An Auckland couple are celebrating their three-year long distance love affair
with a wedding in February, while in Dunedin it seems the little things in life strengthen love with one couple
reporting a hug a day keeps heart ache away.
The competition has been launched to celebrate New Zealanders' being the first in the Southern Hemisphere to be able to
buy new Durex Avanti ? revolutionary non-latex condoms.
