Federation Welcomes First Wahine Maori President

The New Zealand Principals' Federation (NZPF) welcomes their first Wahine Maori President, Leanne Otene, to lead their national organisation for 2023.
As President, Leanne will be the official spokesperson for NZPF and is available to be interviewed or provide written statements on education issues relating to the school sector.
This includes Government educational policies, issues relating to curriculum, including Maori medium, school organisation structures, school leadership, school learning and behaviour support services, professional learning for teachers and school leaders, the changing role of the principal, the relationship between school leaders and their communities and any other issue relating to schooling in Aotearoa New Zealand.
