Whitireia Stage and Screen Arts students present a treat for children of all ages; directed by Tess Jamieson-Karaha.
In a peaceful Samoan Village Chief Tuisamata is ready to pass on his title. That is, before some sneaky winged thieves snatch the village Yams and take them back to their world!
Sapai, the chief's grandson, and his loyal friend Luga must brave the unknown and get back the yams before everyone in the village starves!
Will Sapai and Luga find the courage to face the thieves and save the village!
Join the performers for a magical journey of bravery, loyalty and hip hop dance battles as they journey into the unknown.
The show is being held at The Whitireia Theatre, 25 Vivian Street, Wellington City on:
22 and 23 August at 11am and 1pm
25 and 26 August at 11am and 1pm
Cost:
School groups $5 each, teachers and caregivers free
General Public $10, groups of 10 or more $5 each
