Joining them was newly appointed Adjunct Professor, choreographer/director, Charles Koroneho who has returned after seven years as an Artist in Residence in Canada, to facilitate the development of a trans-cultural learning environment between the BDA and Unitec's Dance programme, staff and students.
The BDA students will spend 18 months at Unitec completing a new co-joint degree with Unitec. Creative Industries head of practice pathway, Dr Vanessa Byrnes, said the arrival of the students was an important milestone for both institutions and ten years in the making.
