Are you ready? Community educators look at opportunities and obstacles in a changing learning landscape
Community educators will gather at Te Wharewaka o Pōneke, June 13-15 to examine how ready, relevant and globally focused they are to meet the needs of adult learners in a fast changing world. Maureen Mallon Assistant Director in Education Scotland will share insights on planning, partnerships and making best use of resources, and shearing contractor and businesswoman Mavis Mullins will discuss how we make technological shifts our norm and encourage people to stay engaged and relevant.
A wide -ranging workshop programme will explore surviving and thriving in a climate of change, evaluation and review to support sustained learner success,
financial capability collaboration in action and approaches to supporting learners to aspire and achieve.
Conference participants will also have opportunities to hear updates on adult education in the Asia Pacific Region, and from representatives of political parties.
