MAUNGAARANGI KINDERGARTEN TEACHER WINS NATIONAL AWARD
Inspired Kindergartens Board and Staff would like to congratulate their very inspiring colleague Natalie Bell, teacher at Maungaarangi Kindergarten, who is being recognised with an ASG National Excellence in Teaching Award.
Natalie believes in encouraging children to be risk takers and to get up and give things a go. A prime example was recently introducing the children to Moto-cross and having professional instructors teach them about safety and manoeuvres.
“We are extremely proud of Natalie. She is absolutely passionate, professional and dedicated to the children and to our community. At the end of the day she is simply in sync with the children and is empowering them as leaders”, says Head Teacher Donna Wynyard.
Natalie who was nominated by a parent and was selected from over 200 nominations will be presented the award at a prestigious ceremony tonight hosted by Education Minister Hekia Parata.
