BCITO’s Big Construction Tour is back!
On Thursday 7 July, over 1,000 hand-picked students will attend BCITO’s Big Construction Tour, which is returning for its second year. The nationwide tour has grown substantially this year, with 22 cities around New Zealand taking part, and more than 50 buses being used to take students around key locations in the construction industry.
The tour will introduce students to the opportunities of the building and construction industry. Students will visit some of the country’s biggest construction sites and developments, and will be shown why a career in construction is a fantastic path. It will also provide a chance for the students to connect with industry leaders who may be their future employers.
The Big Construction Tour is happening on Thursday 7 July in a number of regions around New Zealand including, Nelson, Christchurch, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, Napier, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Wellington, Otago and Southland.
