Incitement denial on campus

Today, on the 14th of October, members of the group "Students for Justice in Palestine" held a stall at the Victoria University of Wellington relating to the violence currently spreading across the State of Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
AUJS members and other students reported that the stall volunteers claimed that the current media reporting of the increasingly violent attacks targeting Jews in that region are little more than lies and that the footage of Israelis being murdered are simply a campaign made in the name of Israeli propaganda.
“That any student group would not only defend these acts of terrorism, but attempt to persuade the student body that they aren’t happening at all is abhorrent” stated AUJS spokesman, Caelan MacBeth, “a student group purporting to advocate for ‘justice’ and peace should be quick to condemn all acts of violence”.
The violence that has erupted in the region over the course of the last week has led to the death of a number of Israelis as Palestinian militants have taken to stabbing and attacking Jewish civilians indiscriminately in the streets.
