Rush Hour dance fitness coming to Unitec - starts next week!
A new initiative by the Unitec Performing and Screen Arts (PASA) dance programme starts next Monday 9 March and runs until the end of the year. We invite you to give it a go!
RUSH HOUR is dance based exercise for people of all abilities. Pick and mix from three fun and user friendly 45-minute classes a week. All classes are taught by qualified movement pros from the Unitec Dance Programme, eager to share their passion for dance and fitness with you.
1. Kick Start (Yoga/Pilates) - Mondays 8.00-8.45am
45-minutes of mental and physical preparation guaranteed to keep you focused through those long Mondays!
2. @ the Barre (Beginner's ballet)– Wednesdays 12.45-1.30pm
Great for posture and toning, you will feel taller, stronger and lighter on your feet. No need for Ballet attire – just remember a pair of socks.
3. T.G.I.F (Dance Fun-ness/Hip-hop) – Fridays 4.15-5.00pm
Put a full stop on your week and set the tone for your weekend with some loud music, great dance moves and lots of sweat. Bring a sweat towel and water bottle!
Venue: Unitec Dance Studios, Building 7, Entry 1, Carrington Rd, Mt Albert, Auckland
Dates: Starts 9 March and runs throughout 2015. Weekly on Mon, Wed and Fri.
Admission fee: CASH ONLY
Staff/Adults - $10.00 (per class)
Students - $5.00 (per class) - pls bring your Student I.D
