Gender pay gap
widens
Men now earn an average $4.00 an hour
more than women, according to Statistics New Zealand. The
latest New Zealand Income Survey data shows men earn $28.70
on average an hour, while women earn $24.80, extending the
pay gap to 13.9 percent.
