NZEI Te Riu Roa congratulates Hekia Parata on her reappointment as Minister of Education.
“Ministerial appointments are the decision of the Prime Minister, and NZEI Te Riu Roa will work constructively with the
Minister of Education,” said President Judith Nowotarski.
“NZEI’s commitment to a quality public education system remains constant regardless of whomever is the Government or the
Minister, and we will continue to work according to that principle.
“This commitment continues with the reappointment of Minister Parata. We look forward to regular meetings and
communication with the Minister,” said Judith Nowotarski.
