Parents offered chance to sample Gymbaroo for free
25 August, 2014
Wellington parents of children aged up to 18 months have an opportunity to sample Gymbaroo pre-school neurological classes in Wilton tomorrow morning for free.
“Gymbaroo starts at six weeks and takes children right through to school age as part of a well-, planned programme based on in-depth research, and, it’s enormous fun,” says Gymbaroo Wellington centre manager, Malcolm Aitken.
“The children love playing on our purpose-built specialised equipment, and Gymbaroo’s exciting activities include, for example, playing with balls, hoops, basic musical instruments, singing, dancing, nursery rhymes and games with our parachute. Vital skills and neurological pathways are developed and parents and carers are provided with plenty of tips and activities for at home. The parents often find themselves humming the catchy songs the kids do their activities to, while getting on with their week, between classes.
“We have a free sample class for babies aged six weeks to six months at 930am tomorrow at the Wests Rugby clubrooms behind Ian Galloway Park. This is followed by a sample class for babies aged six months to a year at 10.30am and a class for children who are walking to 18 months old at 11.30am. For more information please just visit www.gymbaroowellington.co.nz, email info@gymbaroowellington.co.nz or call 04 389 6030.”
