Huhu Studios: internships for Lifeway College graduates

16 October 2013

Huhu Studios relaunches internships for Lifeway College graduates

Huhu Studios has been established in the industry for over 17 years combining versatility and know-how. We are one of the top animation studios in NZ and with an international reputation together with a global reach; we are delighted to announce the relaunch of our highly regarded internship programme. Huhu has decided to make these internships exclusively available to Lifeway College Digital Media School graduates, offering them placements working on significant international projects. This opportunity will see students receive on the job training working alongside highly experienced Huhus staff.

The students we have from the Lifeway Digital Media School have passion, drive and enthusiasm -this is what we look for as it’s an important part of our studio culture.

One of the difficulties in hiring graduates is many of them are not "industry ready". However, our experience over many years now with the Lifeway Digital Media School is their students come ready to work both in attitude and equipped with the right skillsets. What they have learnt is relevant to our pipeline and that is really important to our on-going reputation as a top class international industry player.

In the current economic climate having qualifications and experience is the key to success in the job market. By undertaking an internship, students are gaining valuable experience while studying, giving them the advantage needed in a very competitive market.

We are looking forward to engaging with the latest graduates from Lifeway College Digital Media School in the coming months.
