Christchurch Nanny Nets National Award
Canterbury nanny Olivia Rees has won the national Nanny/Educator of the Year Award with The New Zealand HomeBase Early Childhood Education Association (NZHECEA) for 2013. The award attracted nominations from throughout New Zealand. Olivia was nominated jointly by The Piper Family and The Nanny Company. Olivia is an outstanding nanny who provides a high standard of professional practice in home-based early childhood education. The Nanny Company accepted the award on behalf of Olivia in Queenstown at the NZHECEA Conference. Olivia receives a $1,000 from Planwise and the accolade of being the first winner of the nationl award. The Piper children were really excited when Olivia was presented with her award. Keira said “Olivia is the best nanny in the world”! This skilled young woman has a very promising career in early childhood education ahead of her.
