School Holiday Space Academy at Stardome
Space Academy has come to Auckland these holidays with an out-of-this world adventure for kids to enjoy at Stardome.
The Stardome Planetarium and Space Gallery will be brought to life with activities and challenges for kids to complete, and every activity will earn kids a gold star to add to their own Space Cadet patch. There are heaps of hands-on space activities for the kids to enjoy:
Take part in our Space Cadet fitness and training challenges
Take a close-up look at some real space rocks, in our Meteorite exploration area
Join in the countdown as our model rockets blast off
When you enter the Stardome you’ll be greeted by the Stardome Space Academy Crew, and given your Space Academy activity sheet. Then, step into NZ’s largest domed planetarium theatre and watch a space themed movie projected onto the dome above you.  With 5 different space movies a day to choose from there’s something for every interest and every age:
10am - Tycho to the Moon                                           Suits kids 4-6 years of age
11am - Perfect Little Planet                                         Suits kids 6-8 years of age
