Nominees have been presented with these Awards at the Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand Geographical Society,
held at the NZGS International Conference in Napier on 4 December 2012, and at individual ceremonies at the beginning of
2013. The NZGS Awards are regarded as prestigious recognitions of excellence in work and service to Geography in New
Zealand and internationally.
