Robyn is a cut above
It’s official – Whanganui UCOL Hairdressing Lecturer Robyn Collins is the best.
Robyn was named the HITO Trainer of the Year at the 2012 New Zealand Hairdressing Industry Awards held in the Wellington Town Hall earlier this month. The annual event celebrates excellence in training in the hairdressing industry.
She was also nominated in the Tutor of the Year award category.
Robyn’s prestigious and highly sought after award recognises ‘Exceptional Industry Knowledge, Training Characteristics and Personal Achievement.’
Head of Vocational Programmes at Whanganui UCOL Andrea Bullock says, “The trophy inscription sums Robyn up perfectly. We are very proud of her achievements.”
Robyn has also trained the winner of Hairdressing World Skills who will represent New Zealand in Germany in 2013.
