Huge Demand For In-Home Childcare Creating Great Job Opportunities
Huge demand from families wanting in-home childcare is creating great job opportunities in New Zealand, says PORSE, leading in-home pre-school childcare.
PORSE, which offers on-the-job training in pre-school education, is calling for people looking to work in childcare as in-home educators and nannies.
PORSE says more nannies and educators are needed as more parents are choosing to have their babies and pre-school children cared for in the home environment, with natural play and early childcare education and learning.
In-home childcare is the fastest growing sector for under 2s in early childhood education, according to the Ministry of Education.
PORSE managing director Jenny Yule says in-home educators and nannies play a very important role helping parents give babies and pre-school children a great start in life. The first three years are critical for lifetime success and we need more educators and nannies to help give children this wonderful opportunity,”
PORSE provides all educators, nannies and parents with free nationally recognised training programmes to learn more about early brain development and secure attachment relationships.
PORSE in-home educators are independent contractors, work from home in their own business. They benefit from PORSE providing optional full administration of family payments, access to tax benefits and ongoing support in setting up special terms and conditions with families – not to mention many wonderful tools to help grow and promote their business while working from home
