To all our staff, friends and colleagues in Christchurch — we are thinking of you and send you all our moral support as you respond to this latest crisis. Your priority for the time being is to be at home taking care of your families and neighbours.

All staff and students in University of Otago Christchurch buildings at the time of the earthquake have left the premises safely.
2:30PM Tuesday, 22 February
The Christchurch campus of the University of Otago is closed for the rest of today and tomorrow, Wednesday February 23, and until further notice. This is due to an earthquake.
More information will be posted here as it comes to hand.
