QEC wins Logo battle
As the winners of UCOL’s inaugural School Logo Battle, Queen Elizabeth College will receive a cheque for $5000, at a special school assembly tomorrow at 12.30pm.
The innovative promotion was fought out on UCOL’s FaceBook page where secondary students from 22 schools throughout the region were invited to vote whether they ‘liked’ their school’s logo.
QEC scored the highest number of ‘like’ votes based on a weighted system related to the size of the school roll. The school will receive $5000 prize money and a 32GB iPod Touch to award to one of their students who voted.
