NorthTec representatives to build strategic relationships
in China as part of Education Week

NorthTec representatives will be part of a delegation of key
representatives from the New Zealand tertiary sector who are
travelling to China at the end of this week for a series of
meetings and strategic relationship development with their
Chinese counterparts as part of Education Week.
Education Week has been organised by the Ministry of Education and will be spearheaded by the Minister for Tertiary Education – Stephen Joyce and Education Minister – Anne Tolley – both of whom will be present at key events during the week.
“The Education Week programme will give our delegation an excellent platform for engaging with key individuals and institutions in the Chinese polytechnic sector,” said Mr Binney. “We have been selected to represent Te Tai Tokerau’s tertiary sector providers at this important event.”
Activities that are scheduled in a comprehensive and busy agenda for the week include a Symposium on Partnership in Vocational Education a Higher Education Forum and a Business Education Forum. NorthTec’s representatives will also be attending meetings in Guangzhou and Guilin.
