Lifeway College in Snells Beach, New Zealand, has recently acquired the talented Harsh Borah as guest lecturer for their Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation programme. Harsh will be taking year one and two through their modeling modules, as well as providing them with invaluable industry insights and personal development tips.
Having more than 10 years of industry experience as a 3D Artist, Harsh Borah has an extensive background in Visual Effects, Game Arts, and Multimedia. He has also worked on a number of published Game and Movie titles as a 3D Modeler, Character and Texture Artist.
With global professional experience, Harsh is currently living and working in Australia on a special effects project for a major Aussie Tele-Movie.
“The great reputation of the school, as well as the peaceful surrounding away from the hectic city, are what attracted me to the position. My target is for the students to create a world class showreel, and to teach them everything I’ve learnt from working in the industry for the past 10 years”
Harsh has recently finished work on a major project with World Expo - Shanghai(China), where he completed designs and models of hyper-realistic 3D characters, and lighting/rendering for an animated feature which received a showcase in front of a global audience.
