Vet students bare all in annual calendar
Massey University´s third year veterinary students have revealed all in a calendar to raise funds for their half-way trip and chosen charity - Paw Justice.
"The trip is a celebration of reaching the half-way point in pursuit of a grueling veterinary degree", says vet student Lucy Russell.
"In order to subsidise the cost of the bus, accommodation and bonding activities we fundraise - by making a tasteful nude calendar."
She says the students find a photographer game enough to take the pictures and then travel to unique locations, undress and pose artistically with animals.

The calendar features the nude students in vet clinic settings such as an animal surgery or x-ray room and also includes a festive interpretation of Easter - complete with bunny ears.
Ten per cent of money raised from the calendar sales will be donated to Paw Justice - an organisation dedicated to the fight against animal abuse and neglect.
She says the donation from the calendar sales will help Paw Justice continue their work protecting New Zealand´s animals from abuse.
It is the fifth year the students have held a fundraiser. The July to June calendars are available for purchase at www.vetcalendar.co.nz for $10 (plus postage).
The New Zealand Veterinary Association is a major sponsor of the 2010 Barely There calendar.
