Spinning a new web
Ruahine Kindergartens have launched a vibrant new, user-friendly website allowing parents to locate their closest
kindergarten, view association information and read about the association’s 25 kindergartens in Manawatu, Rangitikei,
Pahiatua and Foxton.
The Ruahine Kindergarten association is comprised of 25 member kindergartens in Manawatu, Rangitikei, Pahiatua and
Foxton.
All 25 kindergartens are represented by their own pages on the new Ruahine Kindergartens website. These pages include an
“About Us” section summarising the kindergarten’s values and strengths as well as a “News” page keeping users up to date
with the exciting events and activities happening at each centre.
The site enables users to input their address and locate their three closest kindergartens. It also provides an overview
of activities children may be involved in at kindergarten and how programmes link with the Te Whariki early childhood
curriculum.
A newsletter has also been developed to celebrate kindergartens and provide news from the association as well as
information about important dates and upcoming events.
This association level newsletter is distributed to parents and members of the community in weeks five and 10 of every
kindergarten term.
