Now chef patron of world class Crown Hotel and vice-chair of The Master Chefs of Great Britain, he was instrumental in setting up the highly successful Adnams scholarships for young chefs from New Zealand to continue their development and training in the United Kingdom.

This year’s Adnams scholarship winners, Wintec (Waikato Institute of Technology) graduates from the Certificate in Professional Cookery, Te Aue Tahi, Laura Bowmer and Kimberley Snowden are preparing to take up their twelve month scholarships in April.
