Long term work sought by students
Tertiary employment service Student Job Search Nelson/Marlborough is looking for more long term work in all business sectors says Lupe Leota, Area Manager, Student Job Search.
The SJS Nelson/Marlborough office based at the C101, C Block, NZ School of Fisheries on 309 Hardy Street opened recently and is looking forward to assisting local students into work over the summer.
“Students have a small window of opportunity for securing funds for next year and the summer holiday work provides them with the necessary money for the forth coming academic year” said Leota.
Student Job Search provides a free service to both employers and students alike and operates a web site, www.sjs.co.nz where employers can list a job.
Tertiary students from Polytechnic, Universities and Private Training can access the employment agency as well as year 13 students who are intending to study at a tertiary institution next year.
Student Job Search is a not for profit organisation owned by local student’s associations which is funded by government via StudyLink.
