A survival guide to student finances

Fri, 25 Feb 2005

'Money Matters: A survival guide to student finances'.

'Money matters' must always remain a central concern for tertiary students as they begin their studies this year", Matt Davies, the 2005 President of the Aotearoa Tertiary Students' Association (ATSA) stated today at the launch of the association's 'Money Matters' booklet.

Speaking to ATSA member presidents at their three day training conference in Wellington, Davies thanked the financial sponsors of 'Money Matter', the National Bank, StudyLink and member associations. "Their continued commitment to helping ATSA deliver sensible, non-partisan financial advice to students and their families has been heartening", he said. "Last year's demand for 'Money Matters' exceeded our expectation and we expect demand for the 2005 edition to be just as strong."

Copies of 'Money Matters: A survival guide to student finances' will be delivered to ATSA affiliated student association over the next week. Copies will also be available through branches of the National Bank and from StudyLink.

For more information, or to secure your copies of 'Money Matters' please contact info@atsa.org.nz.
