Quality education needs quality people
The Minister of Education, the Secretary for Education, and Education New Zealand have all emphasised at the recent ENZ conference the fact that quality is the key to the future of international education. ISANA: International Education Association Inc - the only cross sectorial professional association of international education professionals in New Zealand - has been promoting quality for many years. It will continue to do so at its annual conference - 'Nurturing our Professionalism', to be held in Auckland on 1-3 September.
"Quality education begins with quality people provided with quality resources. What training, support and working conditions do the international marketers, teachers, student and exchange advisers, homestay coordinators, and others need to ensure that they deliver quality to the students and to their employers? This and similar questions will be debated at the conference." says John Pickering, ISANA NZ president.
