Chancellor re-elected
The Hon. Margaret Austin of Christchurch, Chair of the New Zealand UNESCO Commission and a former Minister of Science, Research and Technology, has been re-elected Chancellor of Lincoln University for a further 12-month term. Mrs Austin has been Chancellor since 1999.
Ms Charlotte Williams of Wellington has been re-elected Pro Chancellor (deputy to the Chancellor). Ms Williams, a public policy consultant and former head of the Australian Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been Pro-Chancellor since 2002.
Both were re-elected unopposed at the University’s final Council meeting of the year today (2 Dec.).
