Education Forum appoints private tertiary education policy expert as member
The Education Forum is pleased to welcome Dave Guerin, director of Wellington-based education consulting firm Education Directions, as a new member.
Chairman John Morris said that Mr Guerin would bring considerable knowledge and experience to the Education Forum, especially in the growing areas of private tertiary education and international education.
"Dave has been a key contributor to education policy development over a number of years and has been a driving force in helping to establish a quality private education sector in New Zealand," Mr Morris said.
Mr Morris said that the appointment would further strengthen the Education Forum's role as a key independent voice on education and training policy issues in New Zealand.
The Education Forum's membership is drawn from all education sectors - from early childhood through to tertiary, together with leaders of industry and commerce.
