Student Roundtable to be launched
The Student Roundtable (SRT) has been formed in response to the increasing success of it's sister body the Business Roundtable (BRT).
"Like the BRT we will be surveying public opinion, lobbying government and generally attempting to impose our morality upon the rest of society." said Sam Huggard, Co-President of the SRT.
Delegates from around the country shall be meeting at the Otago University Registry on September 2nd at 12PM for the First Annual meeting of the SRT. (Agenda attached) Delegates all have impressive histories in local students association and are all looking forward to their role as delegates.
As well as publishing a number of position papers on important issues and releasing a survey on student confidence the SRT meeting in Dunedin will be meeting with a number of Cabinet ministers and shadowy controllers of Public Policy.
"If we don't see significant change occurring within the next few months I expect you will see many students looking to invest their debt overseas where conditions are more favourable." said Mr. Huggard.
