AutoSense Backs Australasian Fleet Champions Awards As Headline Sponsor
Entries are now open for the 2025 Australasian Fleet Champions Awards, and organiser, road safety charity Brake, is pleased to announce fleet and driver safety solutions provider AutoSense as the headline sponsor for this year’s awards. The awards, run through Brake’s Global Fleet Champions initiative, recognise organisations and individuals committed to improving fleet safety across Australasia.
Caroline Perry, Brake’s NZ Director says: “We’re delighted to have AutoSense on board as the headline sponsor for this year’s awards. Their passion for road safety and history of working with fleet operators to help them manage road risk aligns very well with Brake’s work.”
AutoSense CEO Charles Dawson says the company is proud to support the awards and recognises the critical role fleet operators play in improving road safety outcomes.
"At AutoSense, improving fleet and driver safety is at the core of everything we do. Supporting the Fleet Champions Awards is a natural extension of our commitment to helping businesses on both sides of the Tasman put driver safety and wellbeing at the heart of their operations. We’re proud to stand alongside Brake to celebrate organisations that share our dedication to safer journeys for all,” he said.
Brake, which organises the awards through its Global Fleet Champions initiative, is inviting entries from fleet operators and suppliers working to reduce crashes and pollution from vehicles being driven on work purposes. The deadline for entries is Friday 18 July 2025 and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday 30 October in Auckland.

“Organisations with staff who drive on work purposes have an important part to play in making our roads safer. The Fleet Champions Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the effort that organisations are making to reduce incidents involving at-work drivers and vehicles. I’d urge any organisation that has put measures in place to reduce their road risk to consider entering the awards or nominating someone else within the industry,” Ms Perry said.
Dawson underscores the importance of the awards as a platform to highlight those leading the way in fleet safety.
“These awards spotlight the changemakers in fleet safety — the innovators, the advocates, and the everyday heroes who are making a difference on our roads. We’re proud to champion their efforts.”
