Brother Sister release their single SSDD off upcoming album

Published: Fri 17 May 2019 05:26 PM
Inspired by the days of Saturday morning television, 80s movie soundtracks & sibling rivalry, the trio have established themselves as Auckland’s premier sibling synth pop band. The band is made up of Dave Thomson (Alex the Kid) on vocals and keyboard, Taz Thomson (Master Blaster and Club Stupid) on vocals and bass, and Ben Thomson (Alex the Kid) on the drums.
"SSDD has a split meaning, its about working too much, paying too many bills, and using a drink to wash it all away, but also about the idea that we can move on from that whole philosophy, change the season, " Dave Thomson
SSDD was recorded at Smoke Studios with Ben Malone.
The video was created by Dave Thomson himself (Imaginary Creative).
605 will be popping off with the single launch release party. Gretel and Sam Cullen will be playing support.
