The Auckland Rugby League has today announced the election of Tony Kemp to the organisation's Board of Directors.
Kemp has held a number of high-profile leadership positions in the game and currently chairs the Mid Central Zone and is a zone representative on the New Zealand Rugby League appointment panel.
He was also chair of the Counties-Manukau Zone from 2015-2018.
"I'm excited to have the backing of the clubs to be on the Auckland Rugby League Board of Directors and now I am really looking forward to starting," Kemp said.
"Most people know me as a player and a coach professionally, but I have also held numerous governance roles with the New Zealand Rugby League.
"I hope I can bring that experience in governance to help the clubs."
It follows the recent appointment of Brian Mills as an independent director, while earlier this year Shane Price was elected in as the new chairperson of the Board.
