Ara’s second year NASDA students are performing a Jo Randerson double bill between 4-6 April 2019 at the NASDA Theatre
(130 Madras Street, Christchurch).
The plays, “The Unforgiven Harvest” and “Lovin’ it”, are directed by newly appointed acting tutors Holly Chappell-Eason
and Tom Eason and show Randerson’sdiverse play writing.
The Unforgiven Harvest
A regular old farming family. A dad, a mum and a daughter. Alpha-male insecurities and city-country awkwardness. The act
of severing the bad habits passed from generation to generation. A self-confessed ‘angry’ play that hides anger in the
plot rather than yelling it at the audience.
Lovin’ It
A group of 20-somethings trapped in a limbo. Pop-culture and history references blend together in a perspex cube.
Moments pop up out of nowhere then disappear again. The stories have no clear beginning or end. A visceral take on the
modern condition.
Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite here and cost $5.
