Entries are now open for Show Me Shorts 2019. This is the 14th edition of Aotearoa New Zealand's leading international
short film festival. A traveling festival that reaches 28 venues nationwide, from Kaitaia to Stewart Island, and even a
special screening in Antarctica!
We're looking for cinematic, narrative-style short films between 2-20 minutes in duration. The films must be no more
than two years old, and there is no premiere requirement. All genres are accepted, but we don't tend to programme
experimental films.
We would love it if you would help us share the call for entries with your networks. If it's easier for you to just
share the Show Me Shorts posts, that's fine too. The links can be found here:
Our early-bird deadline is coming up on 1 April but there is still plenty of time to submit films before our final
deadline on 1 July.
Show Me Shorts is a competitive Oscar-qualifying festival, that is rated as one of the Top 100 Best Reviewed by
filmmakers on FilmFreeway. All the information about entering Show Me Shorts is available on our website.
Thanks for your help, we really appreciate your assistance spreading the word.
