Farewell Yellow Brick Road 2020 Mission Concert Sold Out

Over our 28-year history, the Mission Estate Winery has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world and this morning’s concert pre-sale to Mission Concert Club members far exceeded any demand ever seen. With a capacity of 25,000 tickets we had 55,000 members attempting to secure their tickets to our Saturday, 8 February 2020 concert. Never before have we seen demand like this.

In less than one hour, all tickets were sold.

In the process of handling this exceptional demand our Ticketing Company experienced a brief system malfunction on its Queue-it system, engaged to reduce the load on the website and ticketing system. At the time we had over 45,000 people in the queue waiting in line to get to the website to buy tickets. Within the first 15 minutes of going on sale at 9:00am, 4% of patrons in the queue were pushed back. Once identified, the fault was rectified but with the unprecedented demand for tickets significantly out numbering the supply, many people where left disappointed.

For the concert on Saturday, 8 February 2020 all tickets have been sold. We are very sorry for those of you who didn’t succeed in securing tickets.

We are looking at ways of satisfying the demand for tickets for Concert Club members who were disadvantaged due to the glitch or left in the queue when we reached capacity.
