LPL sign on for year-long weekly esports broadcasting with SKY Sport

PRESS RELEASE:

LPL is excited to launch their new weekly esports broadcasting programme for 2019.

Beginning this week LPL will be broadcasting live on SKY Sport every Thursday evening from 8pm and continuing throughout the year.

SKY Director of Sport, Richard Last says: “We’re extremely pleased to see the continued growth of esports in New Zealand and Let’s Play Live have played a key role in this. They’re a great partner to work with and we’re really excited to continue to broadcast their local e-sport tournaments LIVE on SKY Sport.”

Season One will begin this Thursday February 14th 2019 with the first episode of our LPL PRO CS:GO ANZ Championship.

Viewers can tune in and see all the action as last season’s champions Chiefs take on Tainted Minds in the first round of the tournament, followed up with Avant vs. Genuine, Breakaway vs. Paradox and Ground Zero vs. Athletico. As always, broadcasts can also be viewed on Twitch.tv/letsplaylive

This weekly time slot will continue on after the LPL PRO CS:GO Season and become a home to upcoming Project CARS 2, DOTA 2, and Rainbow Six Siege tournaments later this year. LPL has exciting plans to expand this lineup of games as the year continues.
