Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Circa Theatre’s original production, Side by Side by Sondheim is full of sparkling lyrics and exciting music, featuring two grand pianos, and gorgeous gowns. A finely tuned night out at the theatre.

Performed by three of New Zealand’s leading international musical theatre performers Julie O’Brien (Evita, The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Matthew Pike (Jesus Christ Super Star, Cats) and Sarah Lineham (The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera), and accompanied by maestros Michael Nicholas Williams and Colin Taylor in a perfect duel of musical
talent. Side by Side by Sondheim celebrates the composer of Broadway successes West Side Story, Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music and more.
